Trail
Front Range Trail Series Trail Map This is a map focused primarily on the Fountain Creek Trail, which is part of the greater Front Range Trail, but also includes connecting trails and other trails within the area of the map. The northern part of the map shows the Greenway Trail in Colorado Springs and ends near the waste processing plant, which is off of Las Vegas St. The southern end of the map is a bit south of the Hanson Nature Park in Fountain. The Trails
The Greenway Trail follows along Fountain Creek and offers something of a respite from the urban environment. The Fountain Creek Trail is sometimes close to the creek and sometimes away from it. Most of it is fairly flat but there are some heart rate increasing hills north of John Ceresa Memorial Park and south of Academy Blvd. Fountain Creek Regional Park offers short hikes on paved trails in the Duckwood Picnic Area or bird watching in the Nature Center on gravel trails. Go for a relaxing day with a fishing pole at the Willow Springs Ponds. Trail List
